Biography
John Priest has been writing for children since 1985.He lives with is wife in the UK and has two daughters.
Most of his time is now spent with his wife and their five grandchildren, telling them stories, playing and acting like a five-year-old. His most recent book is titled, Jack goes to Hospital, and is based on the real-life events of Jack, his eldest grandson, who was diagnosed with Polyarticular Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis, Uveitis and Hypermobility at the age of four. A difficult and tough three years later, Jack is winning most of his battles with the illness. He goes to Hospital on a regular basis and at almost 7 years of age, is fully prepared for his examinations. Jack and John hope that this latest book helps relieve a lot of the stress that comes with taking a poorly child to Hospital.
