Jake Jones and his brother Oliver Jones are orphans whose parents died in a horrific car crash. Their eccentric Archaeologist uncle Herman and strict aunt Margaret from England have obtained guardianship of their long-lost nephews after the loss of their parents, and are taking them on an adventure of a lifetime to find the lost tomb of one of Ancient Egypt's greatest Pharaoh's: Sneferu 'the pyramid builder'. Little do Jake and Oliver know that this adventure will pit them against magical ancient forces which will endanger all their lives and force them to grow beyond the death's of their parents, and learn to live as a family again.
