Synopsis

For fifteen hundred years tales have been told about King Arthur's son Prince Maelgwyn, they have been copied and repeated, without investigation. They were the Pen Dragon Line who established the Gwynedd royal family, one of the greatest royal dynasties of Wales and the whole of Briton. A few generations later in the 6th century King Arthur fought at the battle of Badon. My novel, a blend of fact and fiction, looks at the situation from a different angle, treating those involved as real people with similar problems as people have today, they, too, could be tricked, lied to, cheated, maligned by greedy, ambitious people. I feel Prince Maelgwyn Hir, was wrongly accused of murder and think that my story is more representative of what happened to him.
