Cara Mia Delgatto’s cup runneth over with worries. Her ex-husband is refusing to pay their son’s college tuition, her evil sister is pulling mean pranks, and her old boyfriend has broken her heart. And that’s just the personal stuff. She’s also concerned about keeping the cash register ringing at The Treasure Chest, her retail store specializing in upcycled, recycled, and repurposed décor items with a coastal theme. The media event that Cara plans turns nasty when reporter Kathy Simmons threatens to share unsavory details from the shopkeeper’s past. Things get really dicey when Kathy mysteriously disappears. Cara’s other problems seem trivial in comparison to…a murder investigation!

That all changes, along with her life, forever, when she unexpectedly wins a fortune on the lottery and is suddenly propelled into the realms of the super-rich elite. Everything that money can buy suddenly comes within reach for her.
And while Dorothy likes the idea of being rich beyond her wildest dreams, she soon finds that it will bring its own set of problems. A set of problems compounded by her unique and amazing ability.
In the old days when she had been just plain old Dorothy, it had been easy to hide her psychic powers. But now, rich beyond belief, it’s going to be so much harder. When her dreams and visions start to become more vivid and frightening than usual, she wonders if any amount of money can protect her from her own gifts.
Since the age of nineteen she has been aware that a shadowy presence travels with her. This being provides solace and protection whenever the going gets tough, yet seldom provides a straightforward answer to her questions. What do the dreams and visions mean, and why does one particular strange and dangerous man keep appearing to her? The universe is talking to Dorothy, but is she ready to listen?

A reflection of events that happened to a young man in his mid-twenties over numerous visits to Thailand between 1996 and 2002. A path towards self discovery and the discovery of his surroundings, with many comical events and complicated relationships that finds our man becoming quite close to insanity. A mature read as the awareness of sexuality of himself and others becomes apparent. A transformation from a nice young man as his eyes are forced open to see and experience some unbelievable episodes. My accounts as I recall all of the things that happened to me between these dates.
After shooting and killing his nephew, a gunman runs wild in a London park. What drives Edward to commit such heinous acts? Who will survive yet another of his moments of madness? The action takes place in Jersey, Cornwall, Manchester, London and other places not of this world. Set in 2015, Random Bullets is a crime thriller with a paranormal twist.
If I tell you that I was disinherited by my crazy father, you might understand why I feel a degree of sympathy for Edward. I was interviewed in February 2016 by two BBC Radio 4 producers as part of their Analysis programme on the subject of Inheritance. They’d heard that my book, Random Bullets, deals with the subject of disinheritance and its aftermath.
"Action-packed, thought-provoking, a real ride. I couldn't put it down," "crime with a twist," "An insightful look behind the many faces we wear, and how burning resentments can take you into madness and murder," "Kinetic... really zips along at a pace, I was really drawn in" are just a few of the reader reviews that Random Bullets has received.
Random Bullets is available on Amazon in paperback, Kindle, and audiobook editions.

The main action in Potholes and Magic Carpets takes place mostly in rural Kent and London. This contemporary character-led novel looks at the dramatic incidents, challenges, and temptations in the past and present lives of four couples of varying ages, professions, and sexual persuasions who are all linked by either blood or friendship. Just as in life, the negative, selfish, sometimes violent natures of some of the characters in Potholes and Magic Carpets wreak havoc on the innocent. A tale of not so simple folk.

Billie’s life is right on track. Solid. She has a girlfriend to hang with and an internship to build her resume until she goes back to U Dub next fall. But when her girlfriend bails on her and she inherits her dad’s farm in nowhere Idaho, you could knock her over with a feather. Milepost is a world away from Seattle in more ways than one. There’s no good coffee, the locals are a mixed bag, and there is no social life whatsoever. As for the farm - the chickens try her patience, everything she owns is covered in poop, and the goats may prove her undoing. There’s no doubt she is in over head just getting the place ready to sell, and her mom and best friend are frustratingly supportive without giving her any answers. Luckily, she has help from a hired man of sorts, an attorney she happens to be named after, a gorgeous librarian/cowgirl, and a bunch of people she doesn’t even know. The road to making a decision is definitely rocky, and soon she begins to ask herself: How can she go back to the big city after being down on the farm?
The words in this loosely autobiographical second book in the Mug Trilogy were triggered by the entanglement between Mug, a recently divorced, disinherited, temporarily sex-obsessed woman and Michael. Her Gordian knot was a complex, mendacious, Scottish baggage handler who destiny threw her way late one night in early 2004. She was an honest, too trusting, troubled woman in her late forties. He was an enigma eleven years her junior who was hiding many shocking secrets. Mug's original plan was to write about their unusual story as a present to give to him for Christmas. Little did she know that her gift would almost kill him. She had wanted the opportunity to describe in her book her life prior to their meeting, because it shaped how she felt about him, why she tolerated what others might deem unacceptable. The purpose of Mug's book was to drastically change into a desperate effort to make sense of unfolding bizarre events and to help them both deal with the aftermath.
We all lie once in a while…
Let’s just be honest here for a second. We lie about our past relationships, weight, age, partners, I mean sometimes we lie for no reason whatsoever. It’s just our way to “posh” things up, ’cos let’s agree, nobody ever lied to make it worse for themselves. We always try to get something out of it.
Edward Lee made up a lie to save his relationship with his wife. A story which grabbed the attention of the whole of the United Kingdom back in the noughties.
Now, where are the boundaries of lying? And how can one measure the lie? ’Cos when it came to Edward, his was a massive pile of bullshit that, surprisingly, saved his marriage.
Now that Billie has made her choice to run the farm, it’s time to roll up her sleeves and get to work.
Baby chicks and goats want to be fed. Gardens need to be planted and tended. And Billie seems up for the task.
As the farm teems with life, Billie goes after her chores with zeal and tenacity, as her dad did before her. But, unlike her dad, Billie’s no hermit. Before long, the farm has more visitors than ever, but the one person Billie wants in her bed insists on taking things slow, to grow their relationship from the ground up. Dates, day trips, and working with friends on the farm give Billie and Jodie time to get to know each other’s virtues and vices before they are in over their heads. Soon, Billie will learn that nature works on its own schedule.
Billie’s garden is growing. Peppers are popping. Lettuce and tomatoes abound. Squash and melon vines spill over into the yard, and Billie is doing her best not to kill anything.
But every garden comes with a few weeds and pests. Some are harmless, more annoying than anything, but some are noxious, persistent, and intent on destruction. As Billie starts to put down roots in Milepost, with her girlfriend, Jodie, good friends, and helpful neighbors at her side, some unwelcome intruders want to make trouble for her and Jodie.
In the garden, she can just pull the weeds or feed the bugs to the chickens. With people, it’s not that easy.
How will Billie and Jodie deal with a woman who wants to get Jodie fired and run Billie out of town? And when they suspect Billie’s farm has been targeted, can they ever feel safe and know it won’t happen again?
On top of all this, Billie has to say goodbye to this year’s goats. Geez.

You know, a lot of people are claiming to have spoken to gods (most of them institutionalized), but has anyone ever claimed that a Goddess head-butted them?
Yeah, hi, I'm Alex. If you can't tell, my life is weird.
Actually, it isn't just mine. There's this string of seemingly unrelated murders that's got people scratching their heads, some kind of illegal black magic tournament, and then there's Helen, my beautiful classmate, who's being targeted by some wizard-assassins.
All in all a lot to deal with for someone who's just found out about magic. Wish me luck.
