After shooting and killing his nephew, a gunman runs wild in a London park. What drives Edward to commit such heinous acts? Who will survive yet another of his moments of madness? The action takes place in Jersey, Cornwall, Manchester, London and other places not of this world. Set in 2015, Random Bullets is a crime thriller with a paranormal twist.
If I tell you that I was disinherited by my crazy father, you might understand why I feel a degree of sympathy for Edward. I was interviewed in February 2016 by two BBC Radio 4 producers as part of their Analysis programme on the subject of Inheritance. They’d heard that my book, Random Bullets, deals with the subject of disinheritance and its aftermath.
"Action-packed, thought-provoking, a real ride. I couldn't put it down," "crime with a twist," "An insightful look behind the many faces we wear, and how burning resentments can take you into madness and murder," "Kinetic... really zips along at a pace, I was really drawn in" are just a few of the reader reviews that Random Bullets has received.
Random Bullets is available on Amazon in paperback, Kindle, and audiobook editions.

Four young Americans are magically transported to a world where monsters roam the land, magnificent trees support all life, and an evil spirit hunts one of them to fulfill a deadly prophecy.
An experiment in a weird book causes four youngsters, Nathan, Perry, Melissa, and Michelle to appear in an incredibly strange and desolate world. Trees as large as mountains, scattered across the desolate land like oases, support all life, safe from the monsters that patrol the night fog on the ground. Races of people living in medieval societies populate the giant trees. Known as the Lorns in this particular tree, they welcome the four kids into their world—until Hellferata, the evil spirit descendent of Medusa, intrudes upon their beloved tree.
As the kids search for a way home, Hellferata searches for the prophesied mortal superhero she must battle to the death. Suspecting Michelle for this golden-haired superhero, Hellferata sends her son, Dracu Mort, into the Lorn Tree to kill her. Fearful of the evil spirit the Lorns move to expel the four Americans from their tree. Thinking quickly, the kids devise a plan to avoid the monsters roaming the land and travel to the next tree, where it is rumored there may be a path back home. Will their ingenuity, cunning, and courage help them make it to the Cascade Tree and find a way home, or will Hellferata and Dracu Mort mete out their wrath before they can escape?
Imparting the inspiring message that fear is but a passing foil and love is the true answer, Arboregal- The Lorn Tree is a spiritual quest of hope and friendship that exposes the inherent power we all share.
"Many things roam the streets in the darkness, and some are not human. Creatures lurk in the crannies and alleyways, pouncing on their victims with murderous intent. It is not unusual to be awoken from sleep by screams, but most of us just check the latches on the shutters and press our pillows against our ears, hoping the horrors of the night don't find their way into our own bedchambers."
Demons roam unchecked as the evil sorcerer, Invictus, tightens his grip on the world . . .
Hounded by Invictus' minions, Torg and Laylah escape into the northern wilds of Triken where the wizard, sorceress, and a handful of loyal companions encounter a menagerie of hideous monsters.
Even worse, the demon Vedana manipulates their every move from her black realm, wielding her wicked magic like a diabolical chess-master.
Against such evil, what hope have they to reach the safety of the White City?

This non-fiction, colour-illustrated book describes my close relationship with old postcards. I've been collecting postcards since the nineteen seventies and now own over two thousand of these charming, beautifully quirky historical items. I started fanatically collecting them while writing my thesis on Fantasy in Postcards at art college, where I was studying for a graphic design degree. My thesis won me a first with distinction, whereas my graphic art annoyingly gained me only a 2:2. I was asked by my art history tutor to lecture on the subject of Fantasy in Postcards. As I was only twenty-one at the time, I didn't feel ready. I opted to write this book instead. All the cards in my book are from my own large collection.
Everyone they love may be doomed. Everything they cherish may be destroyed. There is no turning back.
Torg and Laylah’s world is in chaos; their life together, in jeopardy. Even a powerful Death Wizard such as Torg may not triumph as three terrible wars are unleashed upon the land. The evil druids of the forest Dhutanga—giant, insect-like monsters—swarm to attack the white horsemen of Jivita. The druids are superior both in strength and numbers, but the forces of good are not without hope. Torg and his Tugars stand by the horsemen’s sides.
Several hundred leagues to the east, an army of zombies invades Tējo, the great desert. Most of the Tugars have left to aid their allies, and only a few warriors remain to defend the Tugars’ homeland against this horrendous assault.
The most devastating force of all is led by Mala, the ruined snow giant, who has marched with his massive army of cretins and golden soldiers to assail the black fortress of Nissaya.
Triken is on fire.
Sunny is a seahorse who roams the ocean with his friends. Along the way, they learn valuable lessons about Biblical principles. Beginning in volume one, Shrimp discovers that being small in size does not mean he is not valuable. He also learns that it is all right to accept help from his friends.
A retired Irish superintendent and his former colleague, a handsome DCI from Liverpool, attempt to rid themselves and the world of their lethal tile masters. Will they succeed in reclaiming their freedom, or will the bizarre killing games continue? Set in Manchester, Liverpool, and Ireland. Confronting The Hostile is book 4 in The Hostile series of unusual paranormal crime thrillers.

Her demonic Angel and other short stories, published in 2016, is a collection of all of my short stories written thus far. This baker's dozen of short stories have been written in a variety of genres so hopefully there should be something for everyone. Some tales are stranger than others, but all could be said to be different shades of dark. Despite its somewhat suggestive title, Her demonic Angel is not erotica.
To whet your appetite, here are the titles of some of the short stories: ‘The boy they called Dragon’, ‘The day nobody gave a damn’, ‘An email from Jane’, ‘Stuff’, ‘Getting rid of the enemy’, ‘Skin’, ‘Too beautiful’, ‘Philately will get you nowhere’, ‘Mirror, mirror’, ‘In memoriam'.
Available in Kindle, paperback, and audiobook editions.

These are linked stories, in the spirit of Ray Bradbury's Dandelion Wine. They are about a sixteen-year old girl, Kedzie Greer, who was raised in a utopian community and leaves home to make her way in a dystopian society. The year is 2199; the place, the Reunited States.
In these stories, technology coexists with a haunted world. There are witches and robots, ghosts and e-beasts, a mystical lake and a human warehouse.
If you want to get into the main story at once, begin with “Leaving Home.” It is about Kedzie's decision to seek a life outside the town gates.
If you want to begin with background on the town, start with “The Town With Four Names.” It has had a long strange trip from its beginning in the late nineteenth century, when it resembled the Chautauqua Institution, to 2199.
‘Today I am the soft summer rain,
You are my sweet golden sunshine.

Often the Singularity is imagined in apocalyptic terms: the end of one world and the beginning of another, like earth and heaven. I don't see it that way. I saw a new order of beings called e-beasts. The Internet is their natural environment, like water is to fish.
They can do anything on the Internet (aka, Networld) because the limits do not apply to them. They look down on people generally, but not all of them are set on world domination.
Some, called Sparks, are barely aware they are alive at all. Some, like Beltzhoover the Vast, are corrupt rulers of vast empires. The Stovepipes live to party. The Dreadful Night loathe people and torment them for fun.
Cel, an intelligent and idealistic e-beast, sets out on a quest to restore good order to Networld. The people adapt, adapt, adapt to deteriorating conditions. Then something happens that neither Cel nor the people see coming.

You know, a lot of people are claiming to have spoken to gods (most of them institutionalized), but has anyone ever claimed that a Goddess head-butted them?
Yeah, hi, I'm Alex. If you can't tell, my life is weird.
Actually, it isn't just mine. There's this string of seemingly unrelated murders that's got people scratching their heads, some kind of illegal black magic tournament, and then there's Helen, my beautiful classmate, who's being targeted by some wizard-assassins.
All in all a lot to deal with for someone who's just found out about magic. Wish me luck.
