Donna Burgess was born and raised in South Carolina. She is a writing professor at UMUC, doctoral candidate, baseball mom, runner, and horror writer having released over a dozen spooky novels, short stories, and poetry collections into the wilds of the Kindleverse. Before shifting to indie publishing, she earned 200+ writing credits with appearances in popular genre publications like Weird Tales, Deathrealm, Flesh and Blood, The Horror Express, and many others. She is the adult-in-charge of Naked Snake Press & E-Volve Books, former publisher of the popular indie 'zines The Blue Lady and Poe Little Thing. Donna's latest novel is the YA horror release Notes from the End of the World. Her other novels include Solstice and Darklands.
